Software and Systems Testing
Course Objectives
The course is aimed principally at those developers who participate in test preparation, execution and reporting during the test of software or whole systems. It can be valuable as well for project managers or for software engineers who are responsible for the test of their own software.
The course describes advantages of systematic and structured test process. Participants will get a survey of system development process and the importance of testing in various development phases. The course gives a comprehensive coverage of the techniques used for test case generation so that high product quality can be achieved but the number of time-consuming test cases can be reduced.
The course contains information about available testing tools for the enhancement of test effectivity and for the automation of various test phases. An extensive list of references (WWW and literature) is included.
